Every Outdoor Food Partner is cross-trained to support the entire operation, ensuring flexibility, efficiency, and outstanding guest service wherever they are needed.

Position Overview

The Outdoor Food Partner is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while supporting all outdoor food operations across Harvest in the Gardens.

Reporting to the Outdoor Food Experience Team Lead, this role is fully cross-trained and may be assigned to cashiering, food preparation, food assembly, expediting, guest service, stocking, cleaning, opening procedures, or closing procedures based on operational needs.

Partners are expected to demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to supporting the entire operation while maintaining exceptional food quality, speed of service, and guest satisfaction.

Areas of Stewardship

Guest Experience Stewardship

The Outdoor Food Partner is responsible for creating fast, friendly, and memorable guest experiences throughout all outdoor food locations.

Responsibilities include:

Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional service.
Prepare and serve food according to established recipes and quality standards.
Assemble orders accurately and efficiently.
Process guest transactions using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain product knowledge and confidently answer guest questions.
Resolve guest concerns promptly or seek assistance when appropriate.
Deliver efficient service while maintaining quality and hospitality.

Team Member Stewardship

Support fellow partners across all outdoor food locations.
Communicate effectively throughout each shift.
Participate in daily shift briefings.
Maintain a positive and collaborative team environment.
Demonstrate flexibility by working wherever business needs require.

Operational Stewardship

Prepare food and beverages according to established standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout assigned work areas.
Restock food, beverages, condiments, and supplies.
Follow opening, operating, and closing procedures.
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor food quality and presentation.
Report maintenance or operational concerns promptly.

Financial Stewardship

Process guest transactions accurately.
Promote featured menu items and seasonal offerings.
Help reduce waste through proper food handling and portion control.
Protect company assets through responsible cash handling and inventory practices.
Support efficient operations during high-volume service periods.

Cross-Functional Stewardship

Collaborate closely with the Culinary Team to maintain food quality and product availability.
Support Events & Experiences during festivals, concerts, and special events.
Work with Venue Services to maintain clean and welcoming outdoor dining areas.
Communicate operational needs with leadership.
Foster collaboration across all operational departments.

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service, hospitality, or food service experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn multiple workstations and responsibilities.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Preferred

Previous experience in quick-service restaurants, concessions, food trucks, or outdoor food operations.
Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
Experience operating POS systems.
Experience working in high-volume hospitality environments.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Working Conditions

This position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

The role requires extended periods of standing and walking while working in a fast-paced outdoor hospitality environment. Partners should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and moving between outdoor food concepts based on operational needs.
