Behind every successful programme is thoughtful planning, creative development, and clear coordination.

We’re seeking an Events & Programming Manager who will shape a calendar that brings guests and community together throughout the year.

About the Role

Reporting to the Guest Experience & Events Director, the Events & Programming Manager develops and coordinates the annual events and programming calendar.

This includes seasonal celebrations, public events, live entertainment, family programming, community initiatives, corporate functions, and signature experiences.

You will connect creative ideas with business priorities, budgets, schedules, and practical delivery requirements. The Events & Experiences Manager leads operational execution, while you maintain planning coordination and programme alignment.

Why This Role Matters

Relevant programming gives guests reasons to visit, return, and share HITG with others.

Your work helps the organization invest in experiences that support its brand, build community relationships, and make responsible use of resources.

  • Develop schedules, timelines, event requirements, and planning documents.

  • Confirm responsibilities and deadlines with participating teams.

  • Provide complete delivery information to the Events & Experiences Manager.

  • Support planning adjustments when client needs, weather, attendance, or operating conditions change.

  • Maintain relationships with performers, vendors, sponsors, and community organizations.

  • Confirm agreed requirements, schedules, and supporting documentation.

  • Coordinate event use of Interactive Entertainment through its Operations leadership and confirmed session availability.

  • Align booked outlet activities with the wider event itinerary.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work with the Corporate Sales & Events Coordinator to align client expectations and event plans.

  • Partner with the Events & Experiences Manager on feasibility and delivery requirements.

  • Coordinate with Food Experience, Culinary & Supply Chain, Venue Services, IT & Systems, Marketing, and People & Talent.

  • Communicate programme changes clearly and promptly.

  • Respect each outlet’s operating authority and established reporting structure.

Budget & Administration

  • Assist in developing event and programming budgets.

  • Track expenses, commitments, and resource requirements.

  • Maintain contracts, schedules, permits, and event records as required.

  • Ensure planning documents reflect approved requirements.

  • Incorporate HITG’s non-alcoholic beverage environment into event plans.

Programme Evaluation

  • Track attendance, guest feedback, and event performance.

  • Review outcomes with delivery teams and leadership.

  • Identify programmes to repeat, revise, or discontinue.

  • Recommend improvements based on guest response, operating demands, and financial performance.

What a Typical Week Looks Like
