Bahamas Harvest Church (BHC) and Harvest in the Gardens (HITG) are seeking an organized, technically capable, detail-oriented, and values-driven Television & Broadcast Coordinator to support broadcast operations, media distribution, scheduling, content preparation, and technical coordination.

This role plays an important part in ensuring approved content reaches the right audience, through the right channel, in the right format, and at the right time.

At Bahamas Harvest Church, broadcast and media distribution extend ministry beyond the physical church environment. The person in this role must understand the responsibility associated with handling worship, teaching, ministry, and other faith-based content.

At Harvest in the Gardens, the role supports approved video and media distribution connected to campaigns, programming, events, brand initiatives, and public-facing content.

About the Role

The Television & Broadcast Coordinator supports the operational side of television, broadcast, media formatting, content distribution, scheduling, and archives across BHC and HITG.

The role works closely with the Marketing & Creative Services Director and Video & Production Director to ensure content is properly prepared, organized, scheduled, distributed, and maintained.

What You’ll Do

BHC Broadcast & Ministry Media

  • Coordinate approved BHC television and broadcast content.
  • Support distribution of worship, teaching, ministry, promotional, and event-related media.
  • Prepare media files according to required technical specifications.
  • Maintain broadcast and distribution schedules.
  • Ensure BHC content is accurately labelled, organized, and delivered on time.
  • Support ministry leaders and production teams with approved media-distribution requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate sensitivity when handling ministry content, pastoral messages, worship material, and personal testimonies.
  • Ensure content reflects approved BHC messaging and standards before distribution.

HITG Media & Content Distribution

  • Support distribution of approved HITG promotional, event, campaign, and brand content.
  • Prepare content for relevant digital, broadcast, media, or partner platforms.
  • Coordinate media-delivery schedules in alignment with approved campaign timelines.
  • Support the Video & Production Director and Marketing & Creative Services Director with content formatting and distribution requirements.
  • Ensure HITG media is current, properly branded, and aligned with approved marketing initiatives.

Broadcast Coordination & Technical Support

  • Coordinate programming schedules and content-delivery requirements.
  • Format and export content to required specifications.
  • Track content status, approvals, delivery dates, and distribution.
  • Maintain organized media archives.
  • Support technical troubleshooting related to broadcast or content-delivery workflows.
  • Identify missing files, incorrect formats, expired materials, or other distribution risks before release.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and content records.

Media Asset Management

  • Maintain organized archives for approved BHC and HITG media.
  • Ensure files are clearly named, categorized, stored, and retrievable.
  • Maintain appropriate version control.
  • Support long-term preservation of significant ministry and organizational content.
  • Coordinate with video and creative teams to ensure final approved versions are archived correctly.

  • Approved content is distributed accurately and on time.
  • BHC ministry content is handled with appropriate care and sensitivity.
  • Broadcast and media schedules remain current and organized.
  • HITG campaign and promotional content reaches required channels as planned.
  • Technical formatting errors are minimized.
  • Media archives remain clean, organized, and accessible.
  • Content approvals and versions are clearly controlled.
  • Strong communication exists between marketing, production, ministry, and distribution functions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma or degree in Broadcasting, Media Production, Communications, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in television, broadcasting, media coordination, production, content distribution, or a related environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of common media formats, exports, file management, and distribution workflows.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and content schedules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot calmly and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Genuine alignment with the Christian faith, mission, values, culture, and ministry of Bahamas Harvest Church.
  • Ability to operate respectfully and authentically within a Christian ministry environment while also supporting HITG business content.

Preferred

  • Experience with church broadcasting, Christian television, ministry media, or faith-based communications.
  • Experience with broadcast scheduling or television operations.
  • Experience with media asset-management systems.
  • Experience supporting live production or video teams.
  • Familiarity with social and digital content-distribution workflows.

Who You’ll Work With

The Television & Broadcast Coordinator will work closely with:

  • Marketing & Creative Services Director — overall priorities, content strategy, approvals, and distribution requirements.
  • Video & Production Director — video files, technical specifications, production schedules, and media delivery.
  • Graphic & Brand Manager — brand assets and approved visual materials where required.
  • BHC Pastoral and Ministry Leaders — as appropriate for approved ministry and broadcast content.
  • HITG marketing and leadership teams — as required for approved campaign, event, and promotional content.
  • External broadcast, media, or distribution partners — where applicable.
