Harvest in the Garden (HITG) is a multi-concept destination bringing together hospitality, culinary, retail, and entertainment into one integrated guest experience.

We are seeking a Director of Guest Experience & Events who will design and coordinate how those experiences come to life across the venue.
This role is responsible for ensuring that every guest interaction — from daily visits to large-scale events — feels intentional, engaging, and well-coordinated.
About the Role
The Director of Guest Experience & Events is responsible for shaping the guest journey across the venue.
This includes oversight of:
• Guest experience standards
• Event planning and coordination
• Group bookings and celebrations
• Venue programming and activation
This role works cross-functionally to ensure that all guest-facing experiences are cohesive, engaging, and aligned with the overall vision of the venue.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience Leadership
• Define and maintain hospitality standards across the venue
• Ensure a welcoming and engaging guest environment
• Drive consistency in guest interactions across all service areas
Event Planning & Coordination
• Plan and coordinate events, celebrations, and group bookings
• Manage event logistics across departments
• Ensure smooth execution from planning through delivery
Programming & Venue Activation
• Develop a consistent calendar of programming and events
• Activate the venue through experiences that encourage repeat visits
• Introduce new ideas that enhance guest engagement
Guest Engagement & Experience Design
• Design the overall guest journey across multiple touchpoints
• Identify opportunities to enhance guest interaction and satisfaction
• Ensure experiences feel connected across all areas of the venue
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with culinary, operations, and service teams
• Coordinate event-related food and service requirements
• Align event execution with operational capabilities
Campus Coordination
• Support planning for high-volume guest flow during Bahamas Harvest Church gatherings
• Coordinate hospitality experience during large campus events
• Ensure guest movement is smooth and well-managed during peak periods
What a Typical Week Looks Like
This is a highly interactive and coordination-focused role.
• 30–40%: Event planning and coordination
• 20–25%: Programming development and venue activation
• 20–25%: Guest experience oversight and improvement
• 10–20%: Cross-functional alignment with operations and culinary teams
Evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules are a regular part of this role.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the General Manager
Works closely with:
• Operations Director
• Culinary Director
• Talent & Culture Lead
• IT & Systems Lead
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in hospitality, events, or guest experience leadership
• Experience coordinating events or group-based experiences
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and leadership ability
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in multi-concept or high-traffic venues
• Background in event programming or venue activation
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
