We are seeking an Operations Director who can take a defined strategy and drive consistent, high-level execution across the business.
About the Role
The HITG Operations Director is responsible for the day-to-day execution, coordination, and operational performance of the venue.
You will work directly with the General Manager to:
• Translate strategy into action
• Align leaders across departments
• Ensure consistent execution across all service environments
This role ensures the operation runs with discipline, clarity, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operational Execution
• Oversee day-to-day operations across all venues
• Maintain service standards and operational discipline
• Ensure readiness across staffing, systems, and guest flow
• Act as escalation point for operational issues
Leadership Coordination
• Align department leaders on daily priorities
• Reinforce accountability and performance expectations
• Drive cross-functional coordination
• Support leadership development through coaching
Operational Systems & Discipline
• Enforce operational procedures and service standards
• Implement and manage performance tracking tools
• Ensure consistency across all dayparts
• Identify inefficiencies and drive improvement
Financial Execution
• Execute against established financial targets
• Monitor labor, productivity, and cost control
• Ensure teams operate within budget expectations
• Support planning with real-time operational insight
Cross-Functional Execution
• Support events, activations, and programming
• Coordinate across F&B, entertainment, and guest experience
• Ensure initiatives are executed without disrupting operations
What a Typical Week Looks Like
This is a high-presence, execution-focused role.
• 50–60%: Floor leadership and operational oversight
• 20–25%: Leadership alignment and accountability
• 10–15%: Operational planning (labor, scheduling, readiness)
• 10–15%: Cross-functional coordination
Evenings, weekends, and peak periods are a regular part of this role.
You will be expected to:
• Be present during peak business periods
• Lead from the floor
• Step in when execution requires support
Reporting Structure
Reports to the General Manager
Works alongside:
• Culinary Director
• Director of Guest Experience & Events
• Talent & Culture Lead
• IT & Systems Lead
Oversees:
• Multi-Unit Manager — Food & Beverage
• Multi-Unit Manager — Venue & Entertainment
• Venue Services Lead
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years in hospitality, entertainment, or multi-unit operations
• Experience managing high-volume, multi-department environments
• Strong operational leadership and team accountability
• Experience with labor management and service standards
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience opening or stabilizing operations
• Multi-concept or destination venue experience
• Familiarity with operational systems and reporting tools
