We're seeking a Venue Services Manager who will lead the teams responsible for maintaining that environment every day.

About the Role

The Venue Services Manager is responsible for the daily readiness, safety, cleanliness, security, and maintenance of the Harvest in the Garden property.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will provide leadership for Security, Environmental Services, and Maintenance while ensuring every area of the property consistently meets operational and hospitality standards.

You will oversee the systems, people, and processes that keep the property operating safely and efficiently while supporting restaurants, retail, entertainment venues, special events, and community gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

Property Readiness

  • Lead daily property inspections and readiness reviews.
  • Ensure all public and operational areas remain guest-ready.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and functionality.
  • Coordinate property readiness for daily operations, special events, and peak business periods.

Security Leadership

  • Oversee daily security operations and access control.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and incident response.
  • Protect guests, team members, facilities, and organizational assets.
  • Ensure security standards and procedures are consistently followed.

Environmental Services

  • Lead housekeeping and environmental services operations.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness across public areas, offices, restrooms, and event spaces.
  • Oversee laundry and linen operations.
  • Ensure exterior grounds and landscaping consistently reflect company standards.

Maintenance Leadership

  • Direct preventative maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate repairs, facility improvements, and contractor activities.
  • Maintain building systems and equipment reliability.
  • Prioritize maintenance activities that minimize operational disruption.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Security, Environmental Services, and Maintenance leaders.
  • Build accountability through clear expectations and consistent follow-through.
  • Foster a culture of stewardship, professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Support operational excellence through effective communication and leadership.

What a Typical Week Looks Like

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role.

  • 45–55%: Property inspections, operational oversight, and floor leadership
  • 20–25%: Leading Security, Environmental Services, and Maintenance teams
  • 15–20%: Maintenance planning, contractor coordination, and operational readiness
  • 10–15%: Leadership meetings and cross-functional collaboration

Evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events are a regular part of this role.

You will be expected to:

  • Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the property.
  • Respond quickly to operational issues.
  • Lead by example during high-volume business periods.
  • Ensure the property remains guest-ready at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more years of leadership experience in facilities management, hospitality operations, venue services, property management, maintenance, environmental services, or a related field.
  • Experience leading multiple operational teams.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, facility operations, and workplace safety.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing operational demands in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within hospitality, resorts, entertainment venues, commercial property management, healthcare, or campus operations.
  • Experience supporting new facility openings or major operational expansions.
  • Vendor and contractor management experience.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, safety programs, and preventative maintenance planning.
